George Rogers - Principal
Mr. Rogers has had responsibility for one of the largest data center portfolios globally and has over 20 years of global real estate asset management, financing and strategy execution experience. He serves and Senior Advisor to some of the largest and most influential companies in their sectors.
- Senior Advisor to Igneo Infrastructure Partners, which manages a $17B global infrastructure fund owned by First Sentier Investors, a $148B investment group owned by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Serves as global data center advisor providing strategic advice and data center acquisition assistance.
- Engaged by StepStone Global, an asset management and advisory firm with over $250B in capital allocations in the launch of a global data center investment platform.
- Advised in the launch of a platform with a close of a $450M purchase of one of the largest data center platforms headquartered in Europe.
- Provided strategic advice to Evocative Data Centers, a national infrastructure as a service (IAAS) and managed services data center group with operations in five US markets.
- Featured speaker for US data center industry roundtable events.
Most recently served as Vice President global Asset Management for Digital Realty Trust, the largest owner of data center asset worldwide and the 6th largest REIT in the US. As leader of the West Region for asset management for Digital Realty, was responsible for all aspects of P&L and return on investment for 44 data center assets representing 6.5 million square feet of real estate with over $350 million in annual NOI and $7.0 billion in value. His team commenced active construction on over $100 million in new development including the first Silicon Valley new ground up development for the company in 5 years in addition to over $1 billion in pre-development. Responsible for coordinating over 500 start-up and enterprise relationships, region-wide in addition to finding solutions and negotiating contracts for customers including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Tencent, Salesforce and LinkedIn.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA degree from UCLA in addition to an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
